About Changemaker Salma Maburya

Salma has experienced gender inequalities in her community in Nigeria. Therefore, she wishes to bridge the gaps between men and women. She hopes to help her community end patriarchal beliefs and to help her community reach a point where girls don't have to struggle for their basic human rights. She hopes to raise awareness on gender equality through an online campaign. She hopes to help at least 50 children in her community.
